Players may play in the Championship section if their official USCF rating is 1000 or higher or their USCF Live rating is 1000 or higher. USCF Rated and required for Championship and U1000 sections. To join US Chess: https://new.uschess.org/become-member. Any player can play in the Unrated section and no US Chess membership is required.  If you are Unrated and would like to get a rating, register in the U1000 section.

$60 early bird registration.  $65 by September 24th,  $70 same day registration.  GMs, IMs, and WGMs receive free entry. No deductions from prize! Moms or grandmothers of players registered in the event play FREE (you purchase US Chess membership, no tournament entry fee)!

Free Entry to the Championship section winner to one of the following: All Girls National Chess Championship, U.S. Women’s Open, U.S. Open

In case of a tie for the Championship winner, USCF tiebreaks will be used if necessary (if there are more than 2 players who are tied) to get the top 2 players. The top 2 players will play two G/10 d5. After those games if a tie persists, players will play one “Armageddon” game with White getting 6 minutes to Black’s 4 minutes, both sides receiving a 5-second delay, and Black having draw-odds. The player with the highest USCF tiebreak will choose colors; if they are tied using USCF tiebreaks, a coin toss will be used to determine colors.

Side Event:
Free lecture for players on Sunday morning at 8:45AM by GM Ben Finegold; lecture will feature games of female players! All non-players will be charge $5 admission to the lecture.
